Joint Admission test for Masters (JAM) is a common admission test which is conducted every year for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc.) and other post-graduate science programs at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and National Institutes of Technology(NITs), organized alternatively by these institutes every year. JAM has been conducting since year 2004.

GATE is considered to be the most prestigious examination for engineers, it provides lucrative career opportunities in Post-Graduation from reputed institutes like IISc, IITs, NITs. Several Navratnas/Maharatnas PSUs, research-oriented organizations like BARC/CSIR, foreign universities recruit Graduate Engineers basis GATE Score.

GATE is an All-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising of faculty members from IISc, Bangalore, and other seven IIT’s on behalf of the National Coordinating Board, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts the Combined Geo-scientist and Geologist exam to find qualified candidates for the GSI (Geographical Survey of India) and the Central Water Board. Candidates will be chosen for Group ‘A’ positions such as geologist, geophysicist, and chemist, as well as Group ‘B’ positions such as junior hydrologists.
