Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

Bachelor’s Degree

  • B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)

Master’s Degree

Any one of the following:

  • M.Arch
  • M.Plan
  • M.Des

Doctoral Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Architecture, Planning, Landscape, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, Conservation, or a related specialization.

Candidates must have consistently strong academic records from recognized universities and institutions.

Architecture Faculty Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor Grade II

Essential Qualification

  • M.Arch / M.Plan / M.Des
  • Minimum one year of professional experience

No credit point requirement is applicable at this level.

Assistant Professor Grade I

Essential Qualification

  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 3 years of experience after Ph.D.

OR

  • 6 years of total teaching, research, or industry experience.

Associate Professor

Essential Qualification

  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 6 years of post-Ph.D. experience

OR

  • 9 years of total teaching, research, and professional experience with required academic credentials.

Professor

Essential Qualification

  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience

OR

  • 13 years of total teaching, research, and professional experience with substantial academic contributions.
