The UPSC Deputy Architect Recruitment 2025 (MES) selection is primarily interview-based. However, if the number of applicants is large, UPSC may conduct a Recruitment Test (RT) to shortlist candidates for the interview stage. Generally, weightage in the ratio of 75:25 is accorded for marks in Recruitment Test and for marks interview in determining final merit. In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview stage.
